Call
cost examples
|
| Here
are some examples of calls made using Telesave Traveller: |
- If you
were in Germany and wanted to make a call to the UK through your Telesave
at home account; firstly you'd look on our 'Country you're calling from'
list and find Germany. As you can see, if you call our freephone
access number from a landline the surcharge is 5p and if you call it
from a mobile or payphone the surcharge is 15p. So if you were
phoning from a German landline the per minute price you'd pay for your
call would be 5p + 1.5p (daytime UK National rate call) or 5p + 1p
(evening or weekend UK National rate call). If you were phoning from a
German mobile or pay phone it would be 15p + 1.5p (daytime UK National
rate call) or 15p + 1p (evening or weekend UK National rate call).
|
- If you
were in Switzerland and wanted to make a call to Australia; you'd
find our Swiss freephone number on the 'Country you're calling from'
list. The surcharge for using our Swiss freephone number is 5p
if you're calling from a landline, 25p if you're
calling from a Swiss mobile and 10p from a payphone. So if you made a call to Australia
from a Swiss landline, the cost per minute would be 5p + 2p (our rate to Australia), if you phoned from a
Swiss mobile it
would be 25p + 2p (our rate to Australia) per minute and if you phoned
from a payphone it would be 10p + 2p (our rate to
Australia).
|
- If you
were in the USA and wanted to make a call to Japan - as you can see, the
surcharge for calling our American freephone access number is 5p whether
you're calling from a landline, USA mobile or pay phone. So the
per minute cost of your call would be 5p + 2p (our rate to Japan)
whether you made your call from a landline, a pay phone or a mobile.
|
- If you
are travelling around the UK and want to use Telesave Traveller we don't
charge you anything at all for calling our freephone access number from
a landline or a mobile but there is a 15p surcharge to call it from a
pay phone. So if you wanted to call South Africa from a UK pay phone
then the cost per minute would be 15p + 5p (our rate to South Africa)
but if you called it from a UK landline then there wouldn't be
an extra cost, it would just be 5p (our rate to South Africa).

| Please
note: If you are using a mobile please check with your mobile provider
to see whether they will charge you for calling a freephone number - if
they do then this cost is in addition to our charges as it's a charge
made by your mobile company and is outside our control. |
